I recently shot a wedding at a private home in Montecito.  It was such an intimate and special wedding at the father of the bride’s home, with the ceremony held underneath an old tree in the front yard followed by a reception in the backyard.  There were pops of color everywhere with vibrant oranges and pinks that created a fun atmosphere.  Here the bride and groom left bright colored cards for guests to make wishes to the happy couple then roll them up and put in the honeycomb frame.  Such a great idea!

I know it is only the end of summer, but the holidays will be here before we know it!  We are excited to announce mini portrait sessions for one day only to help you with your family Christmas cards and best of all it will be at a reduced rate!!!

How cute is this wooden picture frame from etsy?  This would be a fun and unique way to display a wedding photo with the couples initials and wedding date!

I wanted to do something creative and playful for an engagement session, and when I met Allison and Michael I knew they would be up for anything!  The fair was coming to town and we thought it would be a perfect setting for an engagement session.  I had so much fun with this couple at the fair, I cannot wait until their wedding next year!

After the fair we headed to the beach to take some “formal” shots… we were so lucky that day the lighting was perfect!

This recent wedding was shot at the Santa Barbara Unitarian Church and the reception was held on the grounds of the Santa Barbara Historical Museum.  I had photographed the sister of the bride’s wedding a couple years back and was so happy to be chosen to photographer hers.

I just love how they incorporated little pops of color everywhere!  The flowers, including these beautiful bouquets, were made by Eileen and her team at Grass Roots.
