Escort Cards

Wednesday, April 20th, 2011

To give brides-to-be some inspiration, I wanted to feature some photographs of escort cards that I have taken over the years.  Most of these are DIY and super easy.  Not only are these functional and help guests find their seats, but they can be a fun way to express your theme or personality.  Check out some of these traditional and fun ways to display your escort cards.

Last wedding of the year…

Friday, December 17th, 2010

And it was amazing!  Sonia at XOXO Bride did an amazing job with this wedding at the Four Seasons.  The forecast called for rain, but it held off and the couple was able to exchange vows outside and even do some pictures on the beach.  This was the perfect wedding to end the year!  Cannot wait to see what 2011 has in store!

I think her smile as she was walking down the aisle just says it all!

How cute is this parasol that the bride found in Chinatown?  The couple plans to use this image on a thank you card to their guests.

Montecito Wedding

Tuesday, August 31st, 2010

I recently shot a wedding at a private home in Montecito.  It was such an intimate and special wedding at the father of the bride’s home, with the ceremony held underneath an old tree in the front yard followed by a reception in the backyard.  There were pops of color everywhere with vibrant oranges and pinks that created a fun atmosphere.  Here the bride and groom left bright colored cards for guests to make wishes to the happy couple then roll them up and put in the honeycomb frame.  Such a great idea!
